Roulettly (the "service") is a video and text chat service that pairs people at random. By using Roulettly, you agree to these terms.
1. Age requirement
The service is strictly reserved for people aged 18 and over. By using it, you confirm you are at least 18. Any account linked to a minor is deleted.
2. Account
You can use Roulettly without an account. If you create a profile, you are responsible for the information you provide and for the use made of it from your device.
3. Acceptable use
The following are strictly prohibited, without limitation:
- nudity or sexual acts imposed on a stranger who did not ask for them;
- any content involving minors;
- harassment, threats, hateful or discriminatory speech;
- any illegal, violent or fraudulent content;
- impersonation, and recording or sharing a stranger without their consent.
4. Moderation and enforcement
Automatic safety checks and one-tap reporting protect every person. In case of a breach, we may suspend or block access immediately, without notice, and report any illegal content to the competent authorities.
To decide a report on the evidence, moderation relies on images from the camera of the account concerned and, where that account is already awaiting a decision, on a video recording of its own camera, with sound. These are reserved for moderation, are never shown to another user, and are deleted as soon as a decision is made; the video recording is deleted after 14 days at the latest. The privacy policy sets out what is kept and for how long.
5. Premium subscription
Video chat is free. The "Women" or "Men" filter, which only matches you with people of the chosen gender, is offered on the website as a monthly subscription, at the price shown on the payment page before you confirm, taxes included.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Roulettly never sees or stores your card numbers.
- The subscription renews automatically every month until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time, at no cost, from "Manage my subscription". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
- Right of withdrawal: you have 14 days from subscribing. Since the service starts at payment, at your request, a refund pro rata to the unused period is paid on simple request to contact@roulettly.com.
- A suspension for breaking the acceptable use rules gives no right to a refund.
In the Android app, the same filter is obtained with credits earned by watching short videos; no subscription is sold there.
6. Availability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee continuous availability, absence of interruptions, or the behaviour of other users.
7. Liability
Conversations take place between participants through an encrypted relay. You remain solely responsible for your exchanges. To the extent permitted by law, Roulettly cannot be held liable for users' words, content or behaviour.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts.
