Talk to strangers on random video chat.
Roulettly is a free random video chat that runs in your browser or on Android: no account, no download, adults 18 and over only, 20 languages. You are connected to a stranger by video, you move to the next person with one button, and matching favours someone who speaks your language.
Roulettly is not a casino game or a roulette wheel: it is a free random video chat where adults 18 and over meet strangers on webcam. There is nothing to bet and nothing to win.
Free, no account. 18 and over.
You are
I want to talk to
Never widen the search. Leave Roulettly in the background, we notify you as soon as someone matches.
Optional: they help put you in front of someone who shares your tastes.
Start, random video chat Create an accountOne tap, and someone is there
No profile to fill in, no photo to pick. You open the page, allow the camera, and a stranger is on your screen. Not for you? You skip.
That is the whole point of random chat, and Roulettly keeps it that simple: no sign-up, nothing to install, free to start. Any browser with a camera does the job, and there is an Android app on Google Play.
How it works
Three steps. There is no fourth.
Press start
Your browser asks for the camera. That is the only question. No email, no password.
Get matched
You are paired with someone free right now, with priority to people who speak your language.
Talk, or skip
Stay while it is good. One tap and you face somebody else.
The Omegle alternative
Omegle closed: its founder announced the shutdown on 8 November 2023, as NPR reported. The habit did not go with it: people still want to open a page, meet a stranger, talk about nothing, move on.
Roulettly is built for that habit. Random video chat, free, no sign-up, moderated, and clear about where your stream goes. The long version: sites like Omegle.
What you choose before you start
The first screen is the whole setup. Your camera preview comes first, so you see what the other person will see. Then You are, female or male, and I want to talk to: Everyone is free, Women or Men is Premium.
What you are into is optional. A few words about your interests help put you in front of someone who shares your tastes; leave it empty and matching stays fully random. Tick the box to confirm you are 18 or older, press Start, and the first stranger appears.
During the call, report and block sit on every match, and the next button takes you to someone else at any moment.
Every call goes through an encrypted relay
A signalling server introduces two strangers. After that, video and audio go from your device to our relay, then to the other person's device: standard WebRTC, for every match.
The stream stays end-to-end encrypted. The relay only forwards encrypted packets: it can neither read nor store them, and the other person never receives your IP address, only the relay's.
Every call relayed, no IP address exposed, and the conversation not recorded. More on how it works and on safety and moderation.
Free, and what Premium adds
The random video chat is free. Not free for a week, not free until the third match: no account, no card, no time limit.
Premium is optional and needs an email account. It lets you talk only to women or only to men, and adds Strict mode, which never widens the search and notifies you as soon as someone matches. Plans run for 1, 6 or 12 months, with no commitment.
20 languages, and matching that uses them
The interface speaks yours, and matching favours someone who does too. From English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, through Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Hindi, to Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
The menu at the top of this page switches the whole site, and the language you read in is the first one matching tries. It is a preference, not a wall: when nobody who speaks it is free, you still get someone.

No. You open the page, allow the camera, and you are matched. No email, no password, no profile.
