Bazoocam alternative in your own language.

Sites like Bazoocam, in your language

Bazoocam is a French name. If you landed on it, maybe a friend mentioned it, maybe you saw it on a video, and now you are typing "bazoocam alternative", "sites like Bazoocam" or "Bazoocam similar" because you want the same kind of thing: switch on a camera, meet someone you have never met, and move on whenever you like.

That format is easy to describe and easy to try. Roulettly is built around it. You open the page, allow your camera, tick the box that says you are 18 or older, and press Start. The person who appears could be next door or on another continent. There is no profile to fill in and nothing to sign up for.

The difference you will notice most is language. The whole interface exists in 20 languages, so you are not stuck reading a page written for someone else, and the matching gives priority to a person who speaks the same language as you.

Twenty languages, not just one

The interface is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. You see the buttons and the explanations in a language you actually read.

Matching works the same way. Roulettly tries first to put you in front of someone who speaks your language, and it does not turn that into a wall: if nobody fits right now, you are not left waiting forever.

This matters if you are learning a language. A short chat with a real person is a very different exercise from a flashcard app, and nobody minds if you say that you are still practising. Pick your language, say hello, and see where the conversation goes.

Interests, if you want them

Under "What you are into" you can add a few interests. They are optional, and they help place you in front of someone who shares your tastes: a game, a band, a sport, a city you both know. Leave the field empty and you simply get a random pairing.

Some people like to keep it purely random, others like a first topic ready. Both work, and you can change your mind between two conversations without logging into anything.

If you want to speak only with women or only with men, that is a Premium option, with a required email account and plans of 1, 6 or 12 months, no commitment. Premium also has a Strict mode: it never widens the search, and you can leave Roulettly in the background while it tells you as soon as someone matches. The free chat is the same thing, with Everyone selected.

Safety: 18 and over, report, block

Roulettly is for adults only. Before you start you tick "I'm 18 or older and I accept", and you agree to the terms of use.

Every conversation has Report and Block. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. On top of that, nudity detection runs on your own device, on your own camera: if it spots explicit content, it goes straight to our moderation team, which can ban the account.

Next is what the other person sees: your video, your sound, your nickname if you chose one (it is optional, in the "Your nickname" field), the gender you indicated and the flag of your country. Not your email, and not a profile you had to write. You decide what to show, and you can end the chat with one press.

Every call goes through an encrypted relay

A signalling server introduces two strangers. After that, video and audio go from your device to our relay, then to the other person's device, for every match.

The stream stays end-to-end encrypted by WebRTC: the relay only forwards encrypted packets, and can neither read nor store them. The other person never receives your IP address, only the relay's. The conversation itself is not recorded.

Browser, phone and Android

Roulettly runs in the browser, on a computer or a phone, so there is nothing to install. An Android app is published on Google Play if you would rather have an icon on your home screen.

A few small things help. Use headphones to avoid echo, face a window or a lamp so the other person sees you clearly, and close other tabs if your connection is slow.

To see the whole flow first, read how it works. If you arrived looking for other well-known names, the pages for Omegle and Chatroulette cover the same questions. French speakers can start from the page in French, and the home page has the short version.
