Interests work the same way. They are optional, and they help match you with someone who shares your tastes. Left empty, matching stays fully random.
Every call goes through an encrypted relay
A signalling server introduces two strangers. After that, video and audio go from your device to our relay, then to the other person's device, for every match.
The stream stays end-to-end encrypted by WebRTC: the relay only forwards encrypted packets, and can neither read nor store them. The other person never receives your IP address, only the relay's. The conversation itself is not recorded.
Staying private while staying safe
Privacy does not mean being alone with a problem. Next, Report and Block are on every call, and a block can last 1 hour, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days or forever. Read the safety page for the full picture.
